Ectoine

Ectoin prevents photoaging by protecting epidermal melanocytes from UV-induced damage. Studies have shown that 0.5% Excedrin protects 100% of epidermal melanocytes. UV stress did not damage epidermal melanocytes in the areas treated with Excedrin.
